Flipped
The notes for this class are online, giving you 24/7 access to the course material. They are located on VirtualGardner2, under the Flipped tab, then under the appropriate course. [See image at left.]
- Flipped means Notes
The notes for this class are online, giving you 24/7 access to the course material. They are located on VirtualGardner2, under the Flipped tab, then under the appropriate course. [See image at left.]
Each set of notes is labeled by unit and order. For example, Lab Safety is the first topic in unit 1 of Chemistry; therefore, it is labeled as '1.1'.
The Flipped assignments in the grade book refer to the question form shown at right. Every time you take notes, you fill out this form. This tells me not only who took the notes, but also what topics or ideas require more explanation the next time we are in class together.

Post-Note Questions
Each time you take notes for me, you will fill out this form. It's an 'exit ticket' and this assignment is posted in the 'classwork' category of the grade book. The link to the form is on the course calendar page. Your responses guide the first few minutes of the next class period: these ideas/concepts need more explanation or practice. |
